Araucana in North America do not have fluffy cheeks.Hey there, it's definitely a Rooster. You can tell by the sickle-shaped tail feathers and long, thin hackle (neck) feathers. He appears to be an Araucana cross Game breed.

Their not supposed to have beards either. North American Araucana are tufted and rumpless. Ameraucana have muffs and beards, but this guy looks more like an Easter Egger.Oh oops, I was looking at the beard. My bad, we don't have many Araucanas over here in Australia. But the general shape of the head does suggest Araucana.
