OK guys and gals. Does anyone know if you can sex chick's by who gets the wing feathers first? I have always been told that hens/pellets get wing feathers before the cockrel/rooster.

first pic would be what I'd say is a pullet if what I'm told is right.

and next pic would be a rooster...I'm just guessing by other ppls words. They are all same age they was hatched on 1/14/17. Thanks everyone.

Nah, only certain breeds bred gor the trait can be wing sexed. I am no expert, yours are not it. Others can give more specifics.

Not in English Orpingtons you can't. Only certain breeds that have been bred for it.
