What Breed Are We?

They look like mismarked swedish....but could be mutts. Where did you get them from?

I bought some misc. breed duck eggs from a lady and incubated them. I wasn't sure what I would get.

No, I emailed her to find out what all breeds she has and she never replied.

I'd say that they are likely to be mixed breed. They do look like mis-marked Swedish but both black and bibs are dominant, so as long as one parent had black genes and a bib then all the offspring could look the same, no matter what the other parent looked like.

They all look alert and healthy and I'm sure they will grow into beautiful, shiny adults. Being black, they will have a nice green sheen to their adult feathers when they get them.

I am enjoying them, but they sure do eat a lot compared to my chickens!
