What breeds are my chickens? :)

I believe the first chicken is a girl and I know the second is a boy. At first I though they were the same breed but they are both very different. The cockerel looks like his feathers are stained, but that is just his colouring. There are also some speckles around the neck of the first chicken. They are very faint though. What breeds are these two?

I agree, the top one is a hen and the bottom one a rooster. As for breed, they look like cross-breeds. Stained feathers and small block spots are both signs of cross-breeds.

I agree they're mixed breed birds. The pullet is a beautiful color

. From her shape and light legs, I'd say she could have some Orpington in the ancestry somewhere. The cockerel could have some white Rock, he's a nice hefty looking bird.
