what chickens are the best at flying

Might be a bit late but I have cuckoo marans which are excellent flyers, I found one of them in the top of my oak tree the other day!!!

Greetings and Salutations from EAST CENTRAL KANSAS!

Small light meditarianian breeds. not the heavy breeds like australorp and sex link, but the whites and americanas, and such. Not silkies, very poor fliers. I have several smalls/lights/ modest chickens that fly up and roost in trees at night.

Spitshauben and polish can fly very well and the polish is already a jumpy type it is said that the mop on the head interferes with their sight and that is why they are that way.
