What color are these two young Orpingtons? Partridge laced?

These two are out of the same hatch and I'm trying to figure out what color they are. I got the hatching eggs from a local individual. She had Chocolate English Orpington hens and Buff Orpington hens in with the English Orpington roo pictured below (I'm not sure what color he's considered). She said she was pretty sure all the eggs were from the chocolate hens but not 100% certain. All the other chicks from the hatch are solid black. These two are the only oddballs. The cockrell almost looks chocolate laced but there looks to be pattern in the "chocolate" part. The pullet is less lacy looking but still an odd color. Any ideas?

Birchin is based on Patridge, I believe. Dad appears to be Birchin, or very near anyway. The two oddball kids are showing lacing and mossiness.
