What day am I on????

I am fearing this is quite a dumb question but I don't care I want to make sure.

So I set my eggs on Sunday March 11 at 5:30pm so does that mean I am on day 8 right now, and going on day 9 at 5:30 tonight? I should have set them frist thing in the morning but I was hoping to set it up so that maybe every one will be home when they hatch!

Howdy neighbor, not a dumb question. Basic rule of thumb is before noon, that is your Day 1. After noon, the next day completes Day 1 (24 hours).

Yes, you're on Day 8. I've put mine in at 5AM on 3/13, I'm on Day 7. Got it?

Ok good, so I am on the right page. I was not sure if there was any consideration for the eggs getting to temp in the bator first before your day began or any thing like that.
