I'm thinking it is a Legbar cockerel, hatchery quality. The only other thing that makes sense is a Legbar based Easter egger. Nothing else really looks like that.

Oh yay. Another legbar cockerel. That’s so super since I bought the pullets for my current cockerel. I am having ghastly luck with sexed pullets this year

Contact the hatchery with photos. You should get a refund if it was supposed to be a sexed pullet.

I got them from Tractor Supply because I already had two from a straight run group of fancy chicks and needed a few more pullets. (I like to try a bunch of new breeds that way before get the better stock.) I don’t think the hatchery will honor the Tractor Supply sign because TS could have combined two pens. If I like legbars I’ll just get quality hatching eggs next year and these will go as an established young laying flock for someone looking to get pretty eggs next spring. I guess I will give away the less correct looking rooster this year after they mature.
