well i just wanted to no cause in a few more day ill have some little ducklings running around and and everyones telling me that it grows the same as a chicken but do i suppose to belive or not

This isn't true of domestic ducks - my runners will lay 200+ eggs a year each. I think Khakis and Cayugas may lay more. Runners also generally couldn't care less about their eggs, and make pretty poor mothers.One thing you should probably already know is that they dont lay the same as a chicken. Ducks lay a clutch in the spring and thats it. They are very protective and i personally dont see the need in eating them.
