We had a broody hen sitting on bantam eggs. Yesterday on day 19 2 hatched now today mama hen is ready to get up and eat but there are 2 other babies still alive in the eggs but they are just not ready to hatch. Please tell me y'all have some idea to allow these babies to hatch

Can you bring them in and hatch them out inside, then try to introduce them back with mama? When growing up, my sister and I were always raiding the nests after mama left and bringing in the unhatched eggs, more likely than not using only a desk lamp to keep them warm while they hatched. Usually they only had a day left before coming out. We raised several pet chickens/ducks that way. We never tried to reintroduce, but it wouldn't hurt to try on your end. Good luck!

If the mother is just getting up to go eat, then it’s fine. She’ll be back when she has to be….
