What do you use to seal small holes and cracks?

Our coop is sealed up pretty tight but has a few areas, mostly along roof, that have small cracks and gaps. What is the best thing to fill these? Canned gap filler? Steel wool? Thanks!!

For cracks that I am just worried about mice coming in, I use steal wool. If its a crack that could be drafty I try to cover or seal it with wood, because I don't want to use foam and have them end up eating it.

I assume, because you've posted in the predator forum,
that you are concerned about predator/pest infiltration?

How big are gaps and why do you need to fill/cover them?

I hope 'sealed up tight' doesn't mean that you have no ventilation in coop.

Sealed up tight from predators. Plenty of ventilation. Just a few small gaps where I think mice or snakes MIGHT be able to get through that I want to plug up.
