What gene is responsible for the beetle green sheen on a black bird?

I'm finding conflicting information online. Some are saying it's mahogany, some are saying s+ recessive gold.
I don't think there really is a gene responsible for the shine of black feathers. If there is I'll be surprised.

There are a few Extended Black genes though.

Here's a few:
E/E

E/E^R

E/E^Wh

E/e+

E^R/E^R (Birchen/Crowwing)

E^R/E^Wh

There's more then this.

s+ gold. Silver based blacks are very dull.
Many people say you should breed with cocks that leak gold but this is a terrible idea. Having the gold gene is enough. There has been no iridescence enhancement gene identified, per say, but it has been noted that if you breed shinier birds together the offspring will have more luster.

Where can I find out what these mean? I'd really love to find a book with pictures, if anyone knows of one to recommend.
I know some of them, but not all. I'm still learning.

E/E^Wh is extended black Wheaten.

E/e+ is Extended black, recessive gold.

E^R/E^Wh is Psuedo Birchen, I think.

I'm still learning this coloration so I'm not the best to ask, but I try my best to answer.
