What is in my chicken's eye?

There was nothing else wrong with her. When I got the object out of her eye, she immediately felt better and opened her eye. The blood was from a very small cut on the lower eyelid where someone saw the thing in her eye and pecked her. The mystery object was one of those oat type things that is in scratch. I couldn't tell what it was for sure until I let it dry out on a paper towel. I'm very happy that there is nothing else wrong with her. She's my favorite and very sweet.
