Trap the dog and remove it

Oddly enough, you're not allowed to do anything like that with a live dog here if you know who the owner is, other than return it to him. If I took my neighbor's dog to the animal shelter, it would be as if I stole the dog.

I doubt obedience lessons will do much to curve that kind of prey drive.
How about she contains her dog or gets fines? Or gets a dead dog deposited on her porch.

Since the OP is living in Hawaii.... I am doubtful there are laws supporting the use of lethal force to protect livestock from predatory animals....
Maybe I’m wrong, I’ve never lived in Hawaii.
But.... I do know the politics that prevail there.
