What is the best chicken tag

Good morning. Our County Fair currently uses the zip tie type numbered tags for fair, however, they numbers wear off pretty fast and you can tell what it is by the time fair comes. Do any of you know of any tags that are easy to put on, can't be switched from bird to bird and the numbers stay on?

I don't know too much about tags and what is the best one to use, but I'd look to see if there's anywhere that you can get clear inserts to put your tags in. That way, they're protected from the wear that you're worried about. I did see some inserts for business cards on Amazon, if that's a possibility.
