Where did it come from? Hatchery, backyard breeder, tsc? It looks like a mix to me but could maybe be a mottled Cochin.

Oh, and I think it is a pullet but wait until 6 weeks to be sure.

Thank you. I thought so too as the feathers on back of neck are flat not pointed?

Backyard breeder. Eggs from a small holding which had a a couple different breeds running around. Some really big black ones (maybe marans or jerseys) and there were a couple little light cockerels with feathered feet.
