I am looking for a good bantam that does well in cold and hot temps, good with other breeds of bantams, and is fairly easily shown/handled. Also I don't want a kind that is hard to get show quality ones. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks!

Japanese bantams and D’ Uccles. Silkies and OEGB are great too. Don’t recommend Sebrights for docility though.
I actually have 2 that i think are Japanese Silkie Bantams, I just wasn't sure if they were good show birds. Also my brother wants to start showing, and he wants a different breed than silkies. Sorry I am kinda new to chickens, what does OEGB stand for? I was considering Sebrights, but I'll keep what you said in mind.

x2 on ChickenWhisperers comment.

Sebrights are gorgeous (I have them myself) but they are highly active and not automatically inclined to being quiet and cuddly. They can make VERY lovely pets, but this requires a LOT of time investment on your part, and from an early age.

I'd suggest pekins (I think you guys call them Cochins) or Silkies would be widely available and lovely to handle.

Thanks for all the info! I can put a decent amount of time into them, and we would be getting them young hopefully, but I think it might be better to get something more docile.

OEGB stands for Old English Game Bantams. Which are one of my favorite breeds of bantams. They are friendly, attractive and easy keepers. They come in many colors. They tolerate a variety of climates. They are popular in backyard flocks and at poultry shows. Good genetics are readily available. As always high quality comes with a high price.

Here’s my OEGB, Mini

Cochin bantams all the way! Cochins are so mellow and sweet! Also Brahma bantams!😉 But yes OEGB is a good one! I love mine! Her name is Banty and she is a 7 year old hawk attack survivor!😁

I also have a rosecomb named Hazel (picture is from when she decided that she needed chicks and she was actually the best mommy)-

We also have a blue laced red Wyandotte named Twinkie-

We also have two d’anver bantams but I don’t have any good pictures of them.😉

I have loved our little bantam Cochins! They’re little and sweet and busy and commonly used for showing. They come in a ton of colors, my favorite being the Mille Fluer pattern 😍 I have blue and black bantams though. They’re adorable little squatty birds! This is our little pack of 4 with a Welsummer as their protector 😍😍😍
