I think he was, sweet boy we've lost a rooster and 5 ducks within a week of each other. (Ducks all in 1 day/night) we know hawks got 2 ducks, possibly coyotes and raccoons got the rest. All my birds have stopped free ranging since then and no more losses thank goodness
