How far is the drive with the chicks? We just brought 4 chicks 300 miles so we added a hand warmer and fed and watered them on the way home. - the chicks were so cute we just couldn't pass them up.

Where are you buying them from - store, hatchery, or individual? A store or hatchery will not have a problem giving you and your sister your own chicks. Keep inmind that if the ride is a long way it is best to keep then together for heat. If it is less than 50 miles I wouldn't worry about it.
