I know ducks are supposed to lay their eggs in the early morning and chickens can lay anytime of day, but what time of day do geese lay their eggs? I am also wondering if it means anything that my 5 month old female geese are checking out the nesting houses. They have seemed very interested in them for the past couple of days, visiting them a few times each day. What do you all think?

I have 2 /6 month old Chinese and one lays in the morning ,one lays in the evening and they are still laying at this time.

Are you sure they aren't laying cause mine cover them up pretty darn good,i was actually stepping on some that were covered cause i did not know they were there till i caught her in the act of laying them.

I read that geese lay an egg about every 36 hours, so that could make it "any time of day". My goose is done laying but this 36 hour rule was pretty darn close to exact for her.
