My father works at a botanical garden in the Berkshire's in western MA. For each of the last 3 years, they've had a mallard pair nest at a small pond they have. However, each of those 3 years has resulted in failure due to a snapping turtle. Is there any way to catch a turtle or move the ducks nest? What do you lure a snapping turtle with? Is there anything we can do to help out this duck family?

if you can see the snapping turtle in the water get a fishing pole with heavy line an a steal leader cast out a half dead shinner an if he see's it he will eat it set hook an drag him out of the pond.you can then cut his head off an make soup.

or relocate him to a new pond the hoke will desolve in a week or 2 so just cut the leader an run.
