What to do for very hot days

I have 3 week old chicks in a brooder in my garage (no cars present in the garage). The brooder is a cardboard enclosure with no roof and with pine shavings for bedding. I'm in NJ, where summers are hot with high humidity (tomorrow and the next day are forecast to "feel like" 100+). How do I keep the chicks from overheating?

Are you working on building a coop?
I'd get them out of the the garage and into well ventilated coop outside.
