I've placed drops of blue food coloring in my WFBS hens' vents. They are cooped with Minorca hens and a WFBS roo. The eggs are the same color and size. GableBabble is test hatching some eggs for me.

Okay GableBabble, i got 2 of 3 white eggs with a tiny blue spot on them. I'm going to try more food coloring this time. I may just remove the 4 minorcas if it doesn't work better.

I seriously cannot wait. I am a bit over excited and it is not the caffine. WFBS and Minorcas is an awesome mix.

How much color are you shooting in the vents?

I've read somewhere that someone used different color lipstick

yes, along the sides. If you can get in the folds its better

Your most likely on your way to the hospital or getting ready but just wanted to let you know it's going to be alright. Make sure you get plenty of rest and fluids, and don't do anything to soon!! Very important.
