these are the most people friendly chicks I've ever had. They love us and will come right to us with no fear whatsoever. I love them already and you can see DH does too.

The crumbs on the table is chick food. I thought they would stay still longer if they had something to peck at.

And Ruth these are the cookies coming to you. I had to remake them as the batch from a day or two ago did not turn out. I used a different recipe and these are GOOD. My DD said "are these for us?" I said "no these are for RUth" So she asked me "can we have just one? Ruth has to many" I let them eat just one. Hope you don't mind.

BHep one egg hatched,the others looked like they died after they went into lockdown.
And on another good note (yes im happy to get one chick) we found a house.Hubby goes to talk to bank this morning

Its 5 1/2 acres,solid home small but solid,mostley forested,creek running through it,can only see one house close to it and for only 25k.
We will see the disclosure today as well.Its gotta be better then this house which is splitting in half and the foundation is shot.

Sorry to hear about the chicks. Really I wish everone would give the dry incubation a shot. I have been having the best hatches ever since I started this In Dec.
It is worth the try.
