I haven't found a rooster or chicken hat pattern I like yet. I have plans to write a pattern for that. Here's a pig:

I've had those days. My main set of keys have been missing for a week now...along with the spare house key. Good thing I had a spare car key in my purse. I let 1 of the kids use my keys to let us in the house when my hands were full 1 day last week & haven't seen my keys since.

You poor thing. It's a yukky feeling to lose you keys! I sent so many packages out last week I could have mailed them, thrown them away, dropped them .....LOL Last time I found them in the clothes hamper.

I need to go thru & clean the house tomorrow & search for my keys after I bathe a few more muddy chickens. All the rain this past week has turned my runs into muddy lagoons. My daughter & I were out there 3 times trying to dig trenches & using boards to shove the water into the trenches & out of the runs. Now that the chicken pens are remotely dried out, I need to uncake the mud from the poor birds. I started with the smaller chicks, bantams & Silkies. Tomorrow I have a couple more bantams my daughter didn't manage to catch & the rest of the Silkies, then I'll have to start on those poor layer girls. My big boy is the 1 that has covered THEM in mud. I watched him jump on a couple with his big muddy feet & shove them down in the mud so he could "chicken dance"

,as my kids put it, with his favorite hens. I can definitely tell who his favorites are this week. They are the ones with the most mud caked on them

I loose alot of things but there are some i'm OCD about. I often check my purse to make sure my keys are in it. Before I leave the house I check recheck and recheck again that I have my cell, keys and ciggs. I usually end up going back in the house for something I forgot. DH knows better than to ask me to put something up. It could be years before we find it again. We couldn't find the key to the lock box for months. I still haven't found my zip ties. The kickin chicken I bought months ago i've lost several times. Ifound it yesterday when I moved a box somebody put in the way of one of the kitchen cabinets i've stood by many times. It was right there in the open and I couldn't find it.
