I'm also from Fresno. There's only one hatchery I know of and its "belt hatchery"

I've tried to order from them, but can't get through to them on the phone.

Email is your best option. Even though they stop replying to my emails about purchasing chicks.

Also I heard that customers are not allowed to pick up the chicks from the hatchery. Which kinda sucks, driving there is probably cheaper than shipping.

Tip: order from somewhere else


I've ordered my chicks from crackle hatchery and McMurry hatchery. All healthy and excellent service.

Also since those hatcheries are out of state, you don't pay sales taxes.
