Game cameras are a great tool for every farm, especially when you start losing animals to any sort of predator. I lost 2 doelings and 7 chickens in 2 weeks to coyotes, before we had cameras out. But we figured out within the first couple nights of having cameras out that it was coyotes and what time they were trying to come back in for the rest of our goats. Our cameras also unintentionally helped us figure out that our critter caretaker who was supposed to be doing chores while we were away, negelected to do so a number of days. Very unhappy when i figured that out. Luckily we had another neighbor checking in on things once in a while to make sure our animals were ok

I had a trail cam in several locations and never sighted the bobcat until I caught it in a trap. They definitely can be useful though, especially if you don't know what or when your flock is getting attacked.
