I have 9 hens, some Easter eggers, an Olive Egger, Cuckoo Marian’s and Bielefelders plus a rooster. When they were laying eggs early spring I got 9 to 11 eggs daily. Now I get 2 to 5 eggs. There were a few hens that got broody, I let 2 alone to do their thing, and now have 2 chicks that are 6 weeks old but those 2 hens still mother them. Presently, another hen gets the notion to lay on some eggs every other day. I feed them organic feed by Scratch and Peck for layers, I give them veggie scraps and ground eggs plus they have freedom to roam a fenced quarter acre. They all seem happy, they come running when they see me. I have not seen any remnants of an egg being eaten, no gooey mess, no evidence on the beaks. What’s wrong?

How old are these birds, in months?

I'm guessing that the eggs are out there^^^.
Free range birds sometimes need to be 'trained'(or re-trained) to lay in the coop nests, especially new layers. Leaving them locked in the coop/run for a week or so can help 'home' them to lay in the coop nests. Fake eggs/golf balls in the nests can help 'show' them were to lay. They can be confined to coop and maybe run 24/7 for a few days to a week, provided you have adequate space and ventilation, or confine them at least until mid to late afternoon. You help them create a new habit and they will usually stick with it. ..at least for a good while, then repeat as necessary.

Thank you 🙏 I will try that this week!
