What's the rarest breed or variety you have?

23 pages of responses and only a few duck people! I only have ducks but have some that were hard to find. Not sure whether the East Indies Ducks or the Australian Spotted Ducks are considered the most rare. My favorites so far, that are a little hard to find are Penciled Indian Runners. Mine are very friendly and like watching the 3 Stooges. I have some show Cayugas that are stunning.

I know they aren't very rare but I have a SS chicken and WH ducks.

My rarest chicken is an Ermine Faverolles.
My rarest ducks are call ducks (not really rare, but hard to find locally).
My rarest peafowl are a couple of high percentage Spaldings.

Oh my goodness! Ermine Faverolles are gorgeous! Never even seen them for sale before

My rarest right now is a Black Brahma hen and a couple baby Schijndelaars. I also have a Gold Deathlayer chick but those are a bit more common. A few weeks ago a stray dog killed off my Buff Laced Brahmas who are decently rare but I sadly no longer have them

She's was a Buff Laced Brahma! Absolutely lovely breed and my favorite temperament-wise of the Brahma varieties I've had. Sadly an unknown neighbors' pair of Great Pyrenees have killed them all
