I grow my own wheat grass, here in the house. Recently, I purchased a 25LB bag that poorly germinates. The manufacturer was aware and kindly replaced it with a new seed. However, I am left with this huge bag and I hate the thought of throwing it out! Other than the fact that it poorly germinates, there is nothing wrong with it. It is organic, and there is no mold at all. Can I mix it in with the scratch and feed it to my chickens?? Anyone do that....feed them wheat grass seed?? Thanks!

Not on purpose but i did try to reseed a portion of my run that I had fenced off. Well after a couple of days I opened it up and by the next day you would have thought I had run a tiller in there. Had t close off again and reseed. This time I let it grow to about ten inches before letting them in.
