when do homing pigeon squabs learn to walk around and start to go out of the nest.

if you can put a small cup that cannot be turned over close to the nest the babies will learn how to eat on there own faster by the way sometimes the male is so intent on starting a new nest they will sometimes not fedd the young had a brunner pouter male that did this had to pen him seperate until the babies were about ready to wean that is why i put water and feed in cups in the nest boxes a well know breeder of tumblers moves his young on the floor of his loft were all the breeders tend to feed what is begging he does this about two weeks of age has done it for years and has always raised 100 young a year everyone has there own ideas how it should be done
