omg i have just looked again have to go out now, and there was half a broken egg shell with stringy bits and veins in it no yolk in it, what does this mean as i can hear no chirps totally silent have to go out now for a about 2 hours how annoying!!!hope theres one hatched

yes!!, this is a sigh of hatch the chick is probaly under the mommas wing or or stomach sleeping from all that hard work of cracking the shell congrats.
