When to re-home?

I have 4 buff orpimgton cockerels that I need to move on. They are 14 weeks at the moment and I would like them to go as flock additions rather than 'table birds'.

At what age would they be mature enough to look after themselves and a flock, at the moment they just have wimpy sparring matches and I can see them becoming an easy meal for something/someone!

i moved mine on at 12 weeks, and in his new home he cares for a hen and her chick, so i'm sure your buffies would be fine. just sell 'em on craigslist and say that they are not to go for food or on somebodys table. thats what i did
