When will a silkie roo reach maturity?

Roosters generally reach sexual maturity at roughly the same time as their female hatch mates of the same breed start laying eggs. So if the pullets from the hatch start laying the roosters should be able to fertilise the eggs. There are exceptions to this, I've heard of very young roosters fertilising eggs successfully, but their sperm count and quality won't be so good until they are fully mature.

Thank you! What if there are no pullets from his hatch? 4 of my silkies have started crowing :( I've got some younger chicks who are still unsexed and am thinking of buying a couple of pullets as I'd like to hatch our own eggs in spring (it's winter in australia).
