God placed me in this world
Hello,
I have one Guinea hen, Guiness, that we found on the side of the road one day and decided to keep. We've learned a lot about her, but I'd like to know when she should start laying. I don't know her age, but she has layed one egg since we got her in January. I've heard they lay from May to August, but I'm not sure. Any advice?
Thank you,
Louieandthecrew

Normal laying age for guineas is around 16 weeks old, but they are seasonal layers, too, so she may have laid her first egg or two, then quit till she starts up again. She should be laying very soon, I'd think. They tend to hide their eggs so you may want to look around.
