when will they lay?

I have (all almost 8 weeks old) 2 Barred Rocks, 1 Buff Orpington, 2 Isa Browns, 2 Aracuana's (mongel mix's most likely)
When will they start laying eggs? Is there anything I can do to encourage them to lay sooner?

some start at 3-4 months, other breeds might not lay until 5-6 months.

Best thing you can do for them - feed them well and be patient!

I only have a buff orpington out of your bunch but any of the chickens I've had don't usually hatch until 5-6 months, being closer to the 6 months.

We got our hens (as peeps) last June...they didn't start to lay until FEB of the next year.

Patience...hang in there...

They usually lay about 4 1/2 months. One of our little ones laid and small egg today she is almost 4 months.
