Where can you get Tylan soluble without an RX?

I don't think so. I am using healthistraw. Its dustless and cleaned. I change it every week. I have them in a Kaylee 18 x 42 rabbit cage.

Yes it does. I have not had any wet spots even around the water. I will recheck again after work but I changed it Sunday and it was dry through out.

It seems that Tylan soluble from the pigeon place is only 20% Tylan and dextrose. So its pretty much worthless right?

I have a sneezing Silkie hen & she coughs occasionally. Should I try treating her with Tylan? She has me confused because I can’t tell if she’s broody or sick.

If you have a good relationship with a local vet, you can try giving them a call. Some vets may be willing to write you a script for the Tylan based on your phone conversation and the symptoms your birds are displaying without an excessive vet bill and the stress of you bringing in the birds or the vet making a house call. It doesn't hurt to ask. Worst the vet can say is no, they can't do anything without seeing the birds.

When and what to give your birds either adults or chicks is difficult. I am also not 100% sure if most Vets know. I appreciate all the help I have gotten from the Backyard Chicken community. I have made several mistakes with adult chickens and lost some really good sweet birds.
