There is a backyard show (a show especially designed for mixed breeds) coming up in january. I have a few mixed breeds that I am considering taking and showing. I was curious which 2 do you like the most?

Pullet #3 looks just like my dear departed Tux. Her sire was a Cochin/Silkie cross and her mama was a BR hen. We had three look-alike sisters from that pairing, Kate, Tux and Olivia. Awesome little hens. I like #3, of course, because she reminds me of my sweet Tux.

I like the #3 or #4 rooster.

As you can see, without a standard to judge against, we all have different preferences. Personally I like the attitude displayed by roo 1 as he is strutting along. And all the pullets look good.
