Hawkesy
In the Brooder
Hey folks, after hatching my first batch of eggs I am certain that I will be doing it again soon. I was curious as to whether anyone had any particular suggestions as to which breed to hatch?
The new birds will be joining a flock comprised of Isas, bluebells, white sussex, leghorns, polish and australop mix. It must be noted that they will be living in sunny Scotland if that helps anyone decide.
Ideally I am looking for a fairly good layer that is a bit different from the typical hens found in most backyards.
