White hen or rooster?? What am I?

This chicken belongs to a friend who got 6 hens as babies. She suspects it may be a rooster. They are all about 4 months old. She is wondering if anyone could tell her what breed it is, and if it is, indeed, a rooster. It has been hanging out with the hens but making a lot of noise then scratches around in the nest box. She's confused. So breed and gender??
Any ideas?

Agree...white leghorn. Mine just started to lay at about 16/17 weeks and looks like this one is getting ready.
