white Minorca genes

Does anyone have any experience with white Minorcas
I'm thinking about getting some from sandhillls and try and improve
The variety but I wanted to know if this breeds feathers turn yellow
In from the sun like so many other white breeds. And also is this breed
Dominant or recessive white?

I just got off the phone with Sand Hill after trying to place a late order on the white minorcas. I thought it would be a great project to tackle as well. They told me that they are not even sure if they are going to offer any chicks next spring. As far as I know, they are the only people who have the whites. Feel free to PM me if you find anyone who may be able to help us out, and I will do the same if I manage to scare something up!

Last time I saw their catalog McMurray had White Minorcas.

Called Mcmurray just in case I overlooked them, and they don't have them either. Looks like our only hope is getting an early order in with Sand Hill.

I did that as well! They said they are keeping everything they have at this point. She stated she did not know if they would offer any next spring because they are trying to build the flock and might be keeping all that hatch.

I know Richard Schock used to have whites but he
Sold his whole flock awhile ago. I don't know where his
White Minorcas ended up. He also had single comb and
Rose comb blacks
