I hatched these two for the Easter hatch a long. They are 7 weeks old. I am not familiar with this breed- Whiting True Blue. From what I read, they can be a variety of colors. The breed lays a beautiful blue egg. Any idea on the sex? The larger one is grey but looks lighter and more colorful in the bright sun.

The last pic shows both together. The first two show the larger chick and the smaller one is on the bowl. If better pics are needed I can get them today.

Thanks everyone for the replies. I hope they are female but the long neck feathers started me guessing. I got the hatching eggs from a small place in Maryland. She is NPIP. I can hunt up the paperwork if anyone wants to contact her.
I really went to get light Brahmas and I thought that since I was driving a few hours to get the Brahmas, I should try a few other breeds. I only got 3 Whiting true blue and 3 Bielefelders eggs. Now I have 9 light Brahmas, 2 Bielefelders and the 2 WTB. Thats classic chicken math! FWIW the light Brahmas are sweet and huge! I am going to need help with them as they all look alike!

Long neck feathers at their age mean nothing. They are pullets. No more worrying!

I am reading up on the breed now. Should have done that before hatching them! My mind was set on Brahmas but my heart is growing for WTB!:love
