Who else is waiting for that first egg?

Patiently waiting still for 6 of mine to start laying. 2 are 5mos 3wks and the other 4 are only 4 1/2mos so I figure the younger still have a few more weeks before they start.

My girls haven't laid yet. All about 25 wks. Do you think now is a good time to introduce a ceramic egg?

The ceramic egg helped my pullets. So far the girls go back in the coop to lay.

Glad other people have 25 week old girls who haven't laid. My last girl to lay is 25 weeks. The first girl started laying at 20 weeks.

we have 3 chicklets about 13 weeks old (one auracana and two golden wyandottes). since day one they've nested in the nesting box. yikes, do i need to block it and force them to roost?
this is the only sleeping quarters they know. any thots on this or just let them be??

I moved 6 hens to my new coop and waiting for them to lay. One is laying, the other 5 are not. Its been 2 weeks so hopefully they will get comfy really soon!
