I still am thinking about it. I told a freind who is now thinking about going. She would most likely bring her 2 Americaunas.

What we do: In the spring there are always lots and lots of chicks for sale, people bring excess roos to give away, people swap birds, usually there are handmade goodies for sale that peeps have made AND we talk shop, you can talk about chickens forever and no one will think U are strange...hee hee You can also find out about chicken clubs and showing chickens as well. Learn about new breeds, see the sky is the limit.... I hopet hat ansswers some of your questions.....Sue
I bring duck eggs everywhere ..lol ..but then I've been known to drive a 24 hr turnaround trip to other states to get animals! Lol Im crazy like that.Wow looks like I joined BYC just in time for a local meet! Just out of curiosity, do any of the people coming to the meets ever bring duck eggs or ducklings?Sorry if my question seems so newbie.

I drive an average of 170-180 miles round trip everyday in general just to get back and forth from work (nope, not a truck driver or transporter, just a simple white collar working lady), but even with that skill, many of the hatcheries around me who DO offer eggs other than Pekin are way too far away.
