I can't see the photos.
It looks like there are links, but they don't go anywhere when I click on them.

I see two photos now: one has 5 hens, the other has one rooster.

So are you asking which hen is the mother of one of the other hens? Or trying to identify the mother of a chick that isn't in the picture?

I’m terribly sorry I meant this one

With that father, assuming the chick is female,* I am pretty sure that any of the hens COULD be the mother.

Because of the brown in the feathers of the chick, I think the mother is more likely to be one of the hens that shows some amount of brown (the two that are mostly brown, and the one with some brown in her neck), and less likely to be the solid black hen or the black hen with white barring.

I know that saying three hens are "more likely" and two are "possible but less likely" is not very helpful :(

*If the chick was a male, we could rule out the Barred Rock hen, because she would give white barring to any son she produces. But she wouldn't give white barring to a daughter, so that doesn't help us figure out a female chick.

Australorp x Orpington is the mother. I hatched a australorp x Orpington and it looked just like the one you posted.
Thanks, thats what I was thinking but I started wondering because one of my other chickens the same age has full gold neck and looks just like the Australorp x Orpington hen. I started thinking she may not be her mum. Now thanks to your help i now know. Thank you!
