Who is the mother?

The sire is a wheaten Indio Gigante. However the dam is unknown. Are these simply a dark child of the RIR mother, or may these perhaps be half lavender Orpington, or half mixed American Gamefowl?

They look pretty big and plump, so I think the lavender Orp is the mom. It takes two copies of the lavender gene to make that color, so a lavender bird crossed to a breed that does not have at least one lavender gene will produce black offspring, maybe with some red or gold leakage.
