Why are my hens not going broody?

Oh hi!!!! 4 are iser browns, two are arcanas, one is a white one (dont know the breed) and one is a black one (also dont know the breed!)

Ok. i have had some of those breeds before and they did go broody.

Some breeds are more likely to go broody and in those breeds there is still alot of variation. Some lines are breed to be more broody while some lines breed against it, also just like people some of the chickens have the urge for children while others don't. They may decide down the road they want to be broody or they might not. There are no guarantees in this situation.

I'm assuming you are letting them build up a clutch of eggs?
