Why Can't You Put Quail and Chickens Together

When you add new blood you could transfer it to your flock... I understand you have to take risks, but why not just keep them separate to avoid it? Even if its only on the other side of the yard...

70% of our flocks have Coryza? With no symptoms? Thats pretty scary stuff...

That is as close as I can figure it. Over half of the people I know have seen coryza affect their birds so it is somewhere near that...

i don't mixed different birds......but all depend on the flock...reason some have bad luck others no problem...a closed flock with none being carrier you will be ok.....chicken for sure can be carriers of diseases but any bird that is a carrier of coryza, should be destroy IMO.

Yep, ten feet will do it in most cases. Too bad some people lose birds to it...
