Why don't my ducks like the pond?

I'm having the same problem. They loved it at first. Now want nothing to do with it. I even tried throwing their mealworms in to tempt them - and nothing ! I don't have any turtles either.

Same here, beginning of spring both my geese and ducks loved the water. Then all of a sudden they won’t go near it! I have several big snappers also and I think that’s the issue. Problem is, I can’t keep them out of my pond. News ones find there way almost every day!
