Why is her comb purple ???

I saw this this afternoon and her comb was purple at the tips. We live in Florida and the temperatures are high.

The heat can contribute to that discoloration. When it gets that hot, try and keep them in a cool area and provide freshly cold water through out the day. Frozen melon , anything to keep them cool.

Thank you. I provided cold water and change the water hourly, it’s working so far
